Sergeant Justen Gilldor, Thelic Scouts - he is a loyal soldier, can repeat the most important sections in The Thelic Army Book of Proper Conduct for Soldiers, and keeps his sword polished and his armor well oiled. But he isn't all orders and duty - despite what his friends claim - he is very friendly to everyone he meets and is know to be an excellent woodcarver, especially for his special pieces he does for buddies to give to their sweethearts.

He was born to a poor woodcutter family in Kolby Glen in the spring of 552 CE. His childhood revolved around the meager subsistence of a poor villager. It drove him to seek an alternate lifestyle where he could support a higher standard of living, but it also gave him sympathy for the poor. He uses some of his monthly pay to support his parents back home. He learned woodcarving from his father and will spend his leisure hours carving figurines and other knickknacks. Other than taking requests from his fellow soldiers, he will occasionally take a bunch to sell at the market. He has brown hair and gray eyes and a plain face, tanned by many hours in the outdoors. He is Five feet and nine inches, weighs a hundred and sixty-two pounds, and although toughened from his years of army rigor, he walks with a slight limp due to an battle injury. He likes to wear solid colors like blue, green, and gray and has a well worn wool coat that he wears constantly in the winter.

Supply Chief Koden is his closest friend in Ristonn. His soldiers respect him and will always come to his aid if nearby. Most of his peers will help him out as well. He has made a few rivals outside his unit, but none of them are very serious and do not extend to professional relations. He was courting a young lady, Kaina Woschell, but a serious disagreement ended that relationship.

Like most common people he has had very little education. He does know how to write and can read a little. He knows how to do simple math. His career is with the Thelic army. He has no plans on leaving until retirement.
