Fudge Spell List
This is the current list of spells for use in any of my campaigns. The list is organized by college. These spells are based on the Gramarye rules.
- Fire
Ignite Fire
Create Fire, Fair effect (+2), short range (+1). Total mana: 3.
Giant Fireball
Create Fire, Good effect (+5), long range (+2), several targets (+2). Total mana: 9.
Damage done is 10 points and should be spread equally between the targets.
Flame Jet
Create Fire, Fair effect (+2). Total mana: 2.
Damage is 4 points.
Heat
Control Fire, Mediocre effect (+1), several targets (+2). Total mana: 3.
Can be used to warm a room.
Cold
Control Fire, Fair effect (+2), several targets (+2). Total mana: 4.
Freeze the area the size of a room.
Resist Fire
Protection from Fire, Fair effect (+3), self only (-1). Total mana: 2.
Protects the one person only (+1 mana if someone other than the caster).
Fire Elemental

Create Air
Create Air, Mediocre effect (+1), small area (+1), lasts 10 minutes (+3). Total mana: 5.
This spell provides an unlimited supply of air for the duration of the spell.
Purify Air
Transform Air, Mediocre effect (+1), small area (+1). Total mana: 2.
Wind
Control Air, Fair effect (+2), long range (+2), medium area (+2). Total mana: 6.
Predict Weather
Know Air, Great effect (+8), large area (+4), covers next hour (+4), takes 2 minutes to cast (-4). Total mana: 12.
Lightning
Control Fire, Fair effect (+2), few targets (+1), long range (+2), no mundane defense (+2). Total mana: 7.
Damage is 4 points, ignores all normal armor.
Air Elemental

Create Water
Create Water, Mediocre effect (+1). Total mana: 1.
Produces enough water for one person (about a gallon).
Purify Water
Transform Water, Mediocre effect (+1), small area (+1). Total mana: 2.
Waves
Control Water, Fair effect (+2), large area (+4), lasts 2 minutes (+2). Total mana: 8.
Affects one ship or a few smaller boats.
Fog
Control Water, Fair effect (+2), very large area (+8). Total mana: 10.
Rain
Control Water, Fair effect (+2), large area (+4). Total mana: 6.
Creates a localized rainstorm.
Breathe Water
Transform Water. Fair effect (+3), lasts 2 minutes (+2). Total mana: 5.
Allows the caster to breathe underwater for two minutes at a time.
Ice Sphere
Control Water. Fair effect (+2), long range (+2). Total mana: 4.
Does 4 points of damage. Can be used to extinguish fire.
Walk on Water
Move Body, Mediocre effect (+1). Total mana: 1.
Control Water, Good effect (+6), lasts 10 minutes (+3). Total mana: 9.
This is a two part spell. First a movement spell must be cast on oneself. Then a spell must be cast to allow one to walk on the water.
Sample prop: A pair of personal sandals (-6)
Water Elemental summon and banish

Earth to Stone
Transform Earth, Fair effect (+2), small area (+1). Total mana: 3.
Changes a closet sized space.
Sample prop: A pebble (-1), a gem (-3).
Earth Vision
Know Earth, Good effect (+6), 10 minutes to cast (-3). Total mana: 3.
Allows the caster to locate precious metals, ore, etc. in the ground in the local area.
Sample prop: A sliver of what the caster is looking for (-2).
Stone Missile
Control Earth, Fair effect (+2), long range (+2). Total mana: 4.
Does 4 points of damage.
Sample prop: pebble (-2), semi-precious gem (-4).
- Animal
Summon Animal
Know Body, Good effect (+4), extreme range (+4), 10 minutest to cast (-4). Total mana: 4.
Sample prop: fur (feathers) from the animal (-3).
Soothe
Control Animal, Good effect (+4), short range (+1). Total mana: 5.
Sample prop: fur from the animal (-3).
- Communication
Sense Life
Know Body, Good effect (+6), large area (+4), 2 minutes to cast (-3). Total mana: 7.
Truthsayer
Know Mind, Great effect (+10). Total mana: 10.
Persuasion
Control Mind, Good effect (+5), few targets (+1). Total mana: 6
Convince up to 4 people to do something that they are not strongly opposed to doing.

Lend Health
Heal Body, Mediocre effect (+1), short range (+1), lasts 1 hour (+4). Total mana: 6.
Temporarily increases the targets health one level.
Awaken
Heal Mind, Fair effect (+2), touching (-1). Total mana: 1.
Will wake someone from any type of sleep, including enchanted.
Minor Healing
Heal Body, Fair effect (+2), touching (-1). Total mana: 1.
Will cure a major infection, minor disease, or heal [how_many] levels of wounds.
Major Healing
Heal Body, Great effect (+8), touching (-1). Total mana: 7.
Allows one to heal all manner of wounds, disease, or infections.
Purge Poison
Heal Body, Good effect (+6), touching (-1). Total mana: 5.
